Bingwa Sokoni is a peer-to-peer commerce platform built on WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram DM and a public marketplace at bingwasokoni.com. We connect end customers with affiliate sellers; orders are fulfilled by the house merchant.
To use Bingwa Sokoni you must be at least 18 years old and resident in Kenya (M-Pesa availability). Affiliate accounts additionally require a working Safaricom number you control.
All payments are processed via Safaricom M-Pesa STK Push. We never hold customer card details. Refunds for failed deliveries are issued within 24 hours via M-Pesa reverse.
Affiliates earn the configured commission percent (currently shown on
their dashboard) on every paid order where the affiliate is the
referral_merchant_id. Commission is paid out monthly to the
affiliate's registered M-Pesa number.
We may suspend or terminate any account violating these rules, with no obligation to pay out pending commissions for orders affected by the violation.
We aim for 99% uptime on the marketplace and chat handler but make no formal SLA. WhatsApp / Facebook / Instagram themselves may go down independently of us.
To the extent permitted by law, Bingwa Sokoni's aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the total commission paid to the affected affiliate in the prior 12 months, or KES 10 000, whichever is greater.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Nairobi.
